Kira-Kira by Cynthia Kadohata


Kira-Kira is about the chronicles of the close friendship between two Japanese-American sisters growing up in Georgia during the late 1950’s and the early 1960’s and the sadness when one sister becomes very sick. Kira-Kira in Japanese means glittering. The book is found in the school library in F Kad by Cynthia Kadohata.
